Dream Theme: Fish

A fish in a dream might represent something something arising from within the dreamer that could be either threatening or sustaining to the dreamer. Fish can often be a symbol for the urges and attitudes that we share with humanity.

Fish can sometimes signify wisdom that we have that has not yet reached our consciousness. It is still "below the surface of the water."

Dead fish can represent a lack of expression -- even of basic urges. Eating fish can be a symbol of communion with the world and connecting to society.
