Covering for a Witness

I was walking with someone whom I didn’t know. I can’t remember what had happened before in the dream, but I could remember that the person I was walking with had just witnessed a murder and that the shooter was close by and he was trying to avoid him.

We were walking out of the subway and we both saw the killer. I was watching his eyes, and he kept eying the guy that I was walking with. He had a gun with him.

I knew he was going to shoot the guy I was with, but I didn’t want to provoke anything. I could read everything the shooter was thinking.

We were in a city setting and there were lots of people around. He didn’t want to kill the guy here because it would just create several more witnesses.

But he wasn’t going to let this guy just walk away either.

I decided that the best thing to do was to call attention to ourselves so that the killer could not make a move.

I saw a coke vendor down the street and hollered to him that I wanted to buy a drink. I then turn to the guy I was with and asked him if he wanted a drink too.

I then whispered to him that this guy was going to kill him so he needed to run.

When the drink vendor got to us, the guy was able to escape and the dream ended.
