Lions and Bears in my Hotel Room

My wife and I were traveling with a group of friends. We were on a bus discussing where we should go on our next trip together.

We checked into a hotel, and as we went into the room, I heard lions roaring. I looked out our window and could see a few lions walking around in an enclosure that was near the lobby of the hotel.

We had a couple friends that we were sharing the room with, but in the night, a big bear wandered very close to our room. The walls of our room were just a mesh netting material, so they didn’t provide much security.

The bear leaned against the netting and his paw came within six inches of swiping me. I got up and started packing our things to switch rooms.

I went out to talk to the front desk to explain what had happened and they agreed to move us.

I went back to the room to move our stuff, but by now, we were set up in a better spot that was away from the animal enclosure, so we felt more secure and wound up falling asleep.
