Dream within a Dream

I went to see the movie Inception last night and coincidentally, I had a dream within a dream.

It started with me and a few other people going on a trip somewhere. We stopped at a hotel, and we started talking about going to a Metallica concert in the town we had stopped in.

Then Metallica came to our hotel room and we began watching a show about them. They provided commentary while sitting on the other bed in the hotel room.

Apparently, this was supposed to be the show that they were playing, but I kept thinking how lucky we were have such a small venue rather than a stadium.

I then woke up from my dream, and I was at a friends house who I hadn’t seen in a long time. I started to tell him about the concert I was just at, but then realized that it was just a dream.

I started asking him a lot of questions about what he’d been up to for the past few years.

I looked down and realized that I was only wearing underwear. I felt a little embarrassed, but I walked around the house a bit and talked with the rest of his family who I also hadn’t seen in a long time.

There was a baby there at the house, and I asked about whose it was, but they only said that the baby was six months old, misunderstanding my question.

At that point, I woke up again into real life (or so I think).
