Testifying before Congress

My wife and I were following a group of people into a building. I knew it was a federal government building because it was along the Mall in Washington, DC. I turned to my wife and asked if this was the Department of Commerce.

When we got inside, the seating was very strange with bleacher type seats made of marble on either side of the room. We found seats along the side and the meetings started to get underway. A woman walked over and opened the shades to let some light in.

The meeting seemed very disorganized and they had to keep calling a central secretary to find out who was in what department and which topic belonged in which committee. I was taking notes and someone walked over to me to figure out what was going on.

In my stack of papers, I had a whole agenda for the day and as we looked through it, I saw that my wife and I were supposed to discuss a meeting with our local county government later in the day. I woke up before it got to be our turn.
