Rocker in Love

My wife and I were on the stage with a rock band as they were doing a sound check before a show. We were watching as the lead singer was warming up and testing out different voice effects. Then the entire stage rotated and a new set for the show surrounded us. I turned to my wife and said that it looked like we were in the middle of a Williams-Sonoma store.

The place was very bright and there were tall shelves filled with kitchen items. It was really just like the store. We were now standing at the counter talking to the lead singer who was behind the counter.

My wife was asking him to describe what his girlfriend looked like because he seemed to be waiting for her. He said, “Well, pretend I’m just some fly and she walks in the door right now.” He then starts making a buzzing sound and then abruptly stops as if distracted by the person who walked in the door.

He then says, “That’s how beautiful she is.” And then smiled.
