Little Alien Crash

I had a dream that my brother and I and a lot of friends were at our old house around the swimming pool when we saw something flying through the sky really fast and crashing into our garage.

We all ran into the garage and saw that there was a whole in the hood of one of our cars and that whatever crashed into the garage had flown through an open window.

I insisted that it must be some type of small alien space craft because the angle that it came through the window and the angle that it crashed into the car meant that it must have flown around inside the garage before crashing.

We joked that there was almost nothing wrong with our car, and we could fix it easily, but the little space ship was totally messed up — some technology!

When we opened the hood and found the ship it was actually a small plastic toy. It said made in Germany on it. It didn’t make much sense.

I said it must have gone somewhere else and we began to keep looking for the space ship. One of the friends that was over snapped his fingers and said, “I’ve got it.” And he turned on this yard-stick/thermometer. Apparently, it could tell which direction on the stick was warmer, so we could track a heat source.

We looked all around the garage until we found something that was very hot, but it wasn’t the space ship. We sort of gave up looking and left the garage.

Outside, there was now a bunch of pieces of our yard that had been dug up and put on slabs. Each piece contained one end of a suspension bridge and there were people in swim suites walking around on them. It seemed somewhat strange, but not too strange for the dream.

At that point, I woke up.
