Old Friend/Enemy

My dream started off with softball conditioning except it was down my street. We were running down the street and somehow my nose started bleeding. I never get nose bleeds. Then Mr. Steve (assistant coach) told me to go into the bathroom of the nearest house.

I got in there and it was a bathroom like at school. I stopped my nose from bleeding. Then I stepped into an unfamiliar room, but there were kids my age in there. I sat down on the old couch that was there. The television was on so I started watching it. All of a sudden my cousin, her husband, and their four kids (one just a few months old) were on TV. They had their own show starring Sarah, the youngest. All I saw of it was the theme song/part of it.

After I saw the opening of my cousin’s new television show, Emily came and sat by me. Now in real life, the summer before going into freshmen year, Emily was my new friend that I met at gymnastics. She was one of the reasons I tried out for cheerleading, and we both made it. During the summer we had cheer practice at the high school and Emily was the only one I knew. When school started, however, Emily ignored me and I could tell something happened to make her not like more or something.

So my old friend/enemy came over to me and started talking to me saying things like this is crazy and how come we never talk anymore. I was very shocked that she was even acknowledging me let alone speaking to me like old friends.

So today during English we went to the library to do research on this problem (the history class was there too and Emily is in the history class that hour). My friend that I was going to sit by went over to the table Emily was sitting at because Jessica, my friend’s friend, was sitting there. So I sat across from Emily feeling awkward. But Emily (and Jess too, but Jess was my kinda of friend anyways) starting talking to us. It felt so weird because I was talking to Emily and she was talking to me again after about a year of her ignoring me (and I her because it was awkward). I think my dream was telling me something about this morning.
